202 stainless steel belongs to the low nickel high manganese steel.The nickel content is generally below 4%, manganese content is about 8%, it is  nickel-saving stainless steel.202 stainless steel is superior than 201 stainless steel in performance. In chemical composition, we can see that the 200 series stainless steel is added nitrogen. Nitrogen can improve the strength of steel, low temperature toughness and weldability, increasing sensitivity, so the strength of 200 series is tough and the welding performance is relatively good.
