Description

316 stainless steel - for food and surgical stainless steel. Also known as marine grade stainless steel, because it has higher resistance to chloride corrosion than type 304. By adding Mo in this type of stainless steel, it can greatly improve the high temperature corrosion resistance and strength, so it can withstand 1200 °C. It can be used under very severe conditions up to 1300 °C. It is easy to brake or roll into a variety of parts, and is also suitable for stamping, upsetting and drawing, but it is recommended to work backwards to reduce internal stresses.
