Description

316L is a molybdenum containing stainless steel. Due to the molybdenum content of the steel, the overall performance of 316L stainless steel is better than that of 310 and 304 stainless steel. It has a wide range of uses at high temperatures. It also has good resistance to chloride ion attack and is commonly used in marine environments. With a maximum carbon content of 0.03, it can be used in applications where annealing is not possible and maximum corrosion resistance is required after soldering.

Application

Maintenance
