Description

Grade 430 stainless steel is a non-hardenable steel containing straight chrome and belongs to the class of ferritic steel. This steel is known for its good corrosion resistance and formability as well as practical mechanical properties. Due to its resistance to nitrification, it can be used in certain chemical applications. As a representative steel of ferritic steel, 430 stainless steel has low thermal expansion and is excellent in formability and oxidation resistance.
