Description

904L stainless steel has moderate to excellent corrosion resistance and strong anti-oxidation. It has a low carbon percentage that improves the cleanliness and weldability of this steel. It is resistant to pitting, and it has crevice corrosion, good resistance to stress corrosion cracking, good resistance to intergranular corrosion, and good processability and weldability. It is non-magnetic and has good molding and soldering properties. Its excellent hardness is even lower than the low temperature limit. The maximum temperature of 904L steel can reach 450oC.
