304L Hot-rolled Threaded Steel Pipe

Description

It is more resistant to carbide precipitation and is used in food and surgical stainless steel applications; the addition of molybdenum to the alloy prevents specific forms of corrosion. These stainless steel 304L sheets are also known as marine grade stainless steels because of their higher resistance to chloride corrosion. Solution treatment (annealing), because the heat is as high as 1010 degrees Celsius - 1120 degrees Celsius and cools rapidly, and further cannot be hardened by heat treatment. 

Our products are commonly used in many industrial applications, including process chemicals, as well as high salinity environments such as coastal areas and outdoor areas of common deicing salts. The carbon content of these SS 304L sheets is up to 0.08%, while the nickel content is slightly increased. Due to its non-reactive nature, our SS 304L plates are also used in the manufacture of medical surgical instruments.

Features
